A pre-arbitration case can be accepted by either party involved in the dispute. If they do, they must pay the disputed transaction amount. If neither party accepts, then the party which raised the pre-Arbitration may choose to go to Arbitration. The following points will help in ascertaining if a pre-arbitration has been won:
- Visa: The pre-arbitration can be considered as won if you don’t receive an Arbitration notification from us within 30 days from the date of Pre-Arbitration
- MasterCard: If the issuer does not accept the pre-arbitration, PXP Financial Chargeback Team may decide to proceed the case to Arbitration after looking at the decline comments and evidence, if any, provided by the Issuer. Please ensure you provide complete information when responding to a Second/Arbitration Chargeback.
